Black Coffee is a BET Award winner. The DJ and producer beat out fellow South Africans AKA and Cassper Nyovest as well as Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Ghanaian star MzVee, Côte d’Ivoire’s Serge Beynaud and Nigerians Wizkid and Yemi Alade to take home the Best International Act: Africa award during Saturday’s BET International Awards Presentation Ceremony in Los Angeles.
“Finally South Africa has a BET Award,” Black Coffee said in a video message to fans on Facebook. “Thank you Africa!!!” he shared in another post.
