Recently, Diamond Platnumz’s fiancée Tanasha Donna met the Tanzanian star’s mother Sandra Sanura. The viral video of their meet up set tongues wagging.
Diamond documented the moment saying,
‘Somebody met my family for the first time leo…she was scared as f……..😂😂 ,’ Diamond posted on his instagram together with the video.
The mega star also posted a video of the family enjoying a meal together. In what he branded ‘precious moments’.
Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Tanasha’s response after meeting Diamond’s mother was:
‘I was sooo scared . Oh my goodness. I almost pissed myself. She is very sweet and the interesting thing is that we share a birth date, we were both born on the same day.’
The singer’s mother in a past interview told Tanzanian press that she is ready to accept Tanasha with no reservations whatsoever.
Sandra said:
‘Why would I say no to Tanasha? Who said I have refused my in-law? If my son has seen her fit for himself, who I’m I to say no? After all their ages are both conducive for marriage.’
It turns out that Tanasha is the one who cooked the meal – chicken biriani.
‘I could tell that she was trying to test me. She said when she visited that she would like to have biriani. And that is what I made for her.’
Tanasha added, “I loved cooking with my mum, growing up. She has a home catering business which is one of her part-time jobs. She made restaurant style meals and delivered to her clients. Thank God I learnt how to cook back then. I don’t think she would have accepted me, otherwise.”
Of late, Tanasha has gotten trolled with people comparing her to Diamond’s ex, Zari Hassan.
She, however, points out, ‘Lets all embrace positive vibes. I’m all about that. No negativity. The devil works overtime but God wins at the end of the day. Let all spread love.’
